This group is covered by insurance if you are using Kempton LionCare, BCBS, or Aetna. You will pay your copay each week.
If you would prefer to pay out-of-pocket, the cost is $50 each week.

This group will meet for 2 hours each week. Your attendance of all 10 weeks is of course ideal, but if you need to miss a session due to illness or a planned vacation, that would be acceptable. Please just give as much notice as possible so arrangements can be made to catch you up on missed learning.
You will still be responsible for that week’s payment as your spot will be held for you and only you.

CPRT skills are still useful for older children, but there may be modifications to the standard curriculum that need to be made. If you would still like to participate, fill out the form and Loren will call you to discuss it further.
Child-Parent Relationship Training (CPRT), is an evidence-based practice for parents wanting to improve their connection with their child. CPRT is best suited for children ages 2.5-10 years old. Loren Riedel, LPC will host this in-person group for parents for 10 weekly meetings.
In 10 weeks, you will learn skills and strategies to help you:
Understand your child’s emotional needs
Develop your child’s self-control and self-esteem
Effectively discipline & limit inappropriate behavior
Communicate more effectively with your child
Feel more in control as a parent
In 10 weeks, parents report seeing improvement in:
Child’s behavior problems
Stress in the parent-child relationship
Parent-child communication
Confidence in parenting skills
